Phew! I'm sitting here puffing after my mini-workout. I just did 50 sit ups and 200 step and twists on the stepper. I know that doesn't sound a lot, but I have the stepper set to quite a stiff setting, so you really need to use force to get it moving. I think I might loosen it up a bit, as I don't want to build muscle in my legs, just tone things up.

On a slightly similar note, I am holding my first yoga class on the 11th. I have had two definite 'yes' to my invitation (it is invitation only just now, due to space) and I am petrified. I am sure it will be fine, and there will always be the first class to get over. Once I have done this, and once things pick up and I gain confidence, then the next hurdle will be holding a public class. One step at a time. I have only invited friends, so they will be more forgiving.

My meditation is going well. Last night I dedicated it to my SIL who took a massive heart attack yesterday. I am very worried about her, but she is in hospital which I guess is the best place (nasty germs notwithstanding!). The practice is certainly showing some results, I am much calmer during the day, much more focussed.

My gratitude today extends to the medical service who kept my SIL alive yesterday, and continue to look after her today.

And the thing I got rid of today? :oops: It was a 100g bar of fruit and nut milk chocolate. It has completely vanished! Amazing! :))
